The Trieste Contemporanea Library is mainly focused on the art of

20th and 21st centuries, with a special attention for Central Eastern

European contemporary art.

The collection, divided in 9 sections, gathers works of contemporary

art, photography, comics, cinema, art criticism and aesthetics,

artists’ monographs, museum and exhibition catalogues. It also

includes works about theatre, music and literature.

Free access to the collection for everyone, loans, reference,

interlibrary loans.

line Public Access Catalog of National Library


Opening times

The Library is open from Tuesday to Friday from 5pm to 8pm and will

be closed on the following public holidays: 1st and 6th January, 25th

April, 1st May, 2nd June, 15th August, 1st and 3rd November, 8th,

26th and 26th December.
