Preview Leonor Fini, from Trieste onward

from 10 a.m. to 12.15 p.m.

Detail of the book cover: Corrado Premuda, Leonor Fini, from Trieste onward, 2025 (co-edition of Comunicarte Edizioni and Trieste Contemporanea)

Thirty years after the death of Leonor Fini (Buenos Aires, 30 August 1907 – Paris, 18 January 1996), on Sunday 18 January from 10:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., at Studio Tommaseo (Via del Monte 2/1), Trieste Contemporanea commemorates the great artist with the event Preview: Leonor Fini, from Trieste Onward

The event is conceived as an intimate experience for small groups of visitors (advance booking) and presents, in multimedia form, the chapter Primo quadro (First Painting) from the biography Leonor Fini, from Trieste Onward, written by Corrado Premuda. The book is a co-edition by Comunicarte Edizioni and Trieste Contemporanea, edited by Massimo Premuda.

The initiative serves as a preview presentation of the book, whose distribution will begin the following week.
Guiding the audience through the narrative is the voice of actor Paolo Fagiolo, who, like a book trailer, leads listeners into the chapter devoted to Fini’s childhood and her encounter with the writer Italo Svevo, accompanied by the projection of evocative images from the volume.
Admission is free, but reservations are required for one of the three scheduled sessions, starting at 10:00, 10:45, and 11:30 a.m.

Reservations can be made by emailing info@triestecontemporanea.it with the subject line:
