at 6 pm

Miela Reina, Qualcosa da scrivere, 1968, acrylic tempera on panel, 50 × 50 cm, Private Collection, Udine (courtesy of the Centro Studi Miela Reina)
Trieste Contemporanea and the Centro Studi Miela Reina present a previously unseen selection of paintings, sculptures, drawings, writings, and documents by the Trieste-born artist, taking the exhibition title directly from Miela Reina herself.
The opening event will feature greetings by Anna Bálványos and an introductory lecture by the scholar of Italian literature Marina Beer. Among the events scheduled for the evening is also the premiere of the stop-motion film Narrate narrate!, dedicated to the artist by the young Polish videomaker Monika Chaberka, currently participating in an Erasmus+ residency at Trieste Contemporanea.
The exhibition will remain open until 28 August (free admission, Tuesday to Friday, 5 pm–8 pm).
Every Wednesday, Lucia Budini from the Centro Studi Miela Reina APS will also be present at Studio Tommaseo from 6 to 8 pm.
